Program Magazine Publisher
Seattle True Independent Film Festival (STIFF) publishes a printed program for our annual festival. The program will be from 44-60 pages and contains information about the films being screened, general information about the festival and advertising.. The Program Book Publisher is responsible for obtaining the content from the department heads and allocating space in the program and then providing the information to the program designer and working with the program designer to ensure the overall design fits with the branding message desired by STIFF. The Publisher with work closely with the Marketing Director and the Festival Director to be able to understand and further the STIFF brand. The Publisher will work with the printer and distributor to establish deadlines for the program designer, department heads and program ad sales rep. The Publisher will be responsible for editing the content from the department heads and may need to create additional content to fill vacant space in the program. The time commitment is approx 15-20 hours per week for 4-6 weeks in starting in mid March but as a member of the core team the Publisher will be expected to attend the majority or Core Team meeting year year round (Approx 20 meeting).
